Teachers Retreat
We hiked for longer than 1.3km!
Wednesday, June 23rd.
Koreans apparently like to do things as a collective, all as a team. This month we, all the staff went on a hike, to a temple then dinner. (I'll upload pics later).
As we drove to this undisclosed (I don't remember the name) location, I was wondering about two things: 1. How far we were from the North Korean border, I really want to go see. 2. How beautiful Korea is, at least my area. I have the forests, farms and rivers that have really clear water! It's shockingly clear.
I don't know how true this is but, most of the forests in the northern part of Korea are still "new" because most were planted after the Korean War. Truth or not, the forests are amazing and I even considered the idea of going camping.
You won't believe what we had for dinner!
